General Description
Villa Eremo is an elegant 18th Century villa with pool surrounded by 18 acres of woods and olive groves, near three golf courses, various vineyards and typical small restaurants. The villa features a beautiful hilltop location but with easy access to the most important tuscan cities like Lucca, Pisa, Florence as well as the tuscan beaches. On the property there is another villa belonging to the owners ( just a couple) with its own garden and swimming pool 100 metres away . The villa looks out over typical Tuscan countryside - hills and olive groves, woods of chestnut and oak trees. The few cars which pass belong to the people living in the area and there is also another road with no outlet. A country road through chestnut woods leads to the estate, which is located in an open position. Originally the villa was composed of two farm houses which have been joined together, maintaining however a certain independence if required. The owners have carried out an accurate and rigorous renovation using only materials recovered from the surrounding area while ensuring a structure which respects the norms of bio-architecture. The living areas have been renovated with a careful eye for details: antique furniture and ornaments, antique doors, modern and antique prints and paintings, and Persian carpets. On the other hand the house has every possible modern comfort. The pool is open from mid April to mid October (under normal climatic conditions) and is exclusive to the guests. It is an 'infinity' pool and is equipped with hydromassage, swimjets system for water treadmill and changing room with shower and WC. The cleaning system of the pool ensures utmost hygene and eliminates any possible inconvenience caused by the chlorine. The water is slightly saline and contains the same percentage of salt as the human eye. There is a sunbathing area with umbrellas, chairs, tables and sofas . Further down to the right of the pool there is a relaxation area with gazebo and chairs. There is also a small children's corner. The villa (500sq.m approximately) offers luxury accommodation in seven bedrooms (four king size beds) with seven bathrooms, all with Jacuzzi bath or shower; air conditioning in all rooms. Genuine antique furniture and furnishings, with antique fireplace and a snooker room.

Further Details - Local Area mid way Montecatini terme and Pistoia a fantastic location in the heart of Tuscany, within an hours' driving distance of all the main Tuscan art cities: Florence, Pistoia, Lucca, Pisa, and Versilia (Siena is 1.5 hours). The rental villa is only 10 minutes away from the Firenze/Mare motorway, making access to major routes easy. In the immediate area you can find a number of different leisurely activities, such as a beauty spa in Monsumano, three 18-hole golf courses, horseback riding, bowling, cooking and painting classes, and tours with cultural, artistic, gastronomic, and wine themes. The villa itself is located in an area of characteristic, natural Tuscan countryside. Within a range of fifteen or twenty minutes, one can reach the Giusti Grottoes with their hot thermal baths, the Monsummano caves, the Pistoia hills and mountains (with winter skiing), the Svizzera Pesciatina (ten medieval villages), innumerable Romantic churches, and the Fucecchio swamplands.
