This truly splendid villa, located on the green and sunny Tuscan-Umbrian border countryside with easy access to all major Tuscan cities, sits on a round hilltop between the famous villages of Montepulciano and Cortona and close to the Lake Trasimeno and Chiusi. Extremely comfortable and filled with artistic touches, the house is decorated in a colourful blend of contemporary furniture and antiques, and filled with luxuries: Moondream is the dreamed villa for everyone. Ideal location for family’s reunion and anniversary. The pool (6 x 12 m and depth 1,4 m) is set into a large lawn, with endless views of a gently rolling landscape. The pool area is equipped with 2 gazeboes, deckchairs, tables, chairs and an outdoor shower. Shady outdoor sitting / dining areas and the numerous porticoes allow dining in a fresh and natural environment. The property consist of a main villa composed of opulent sleeping rooms, all with en suite bathrooms and of a dining/breakfast area with open kitchen; just 80 mt far there is the annex composed of an ample comfortable living / dining room with direct access to the garden and a fully equipped kitchen. There is something to please everyone in this area: villages and castles to explore, a lake for boating and windsurfing, wineries and fine foods, a selection of world class golf courses, and even a semi-annual jazz festival. Daily excursion to all most famous cities in Tuscany and Umbria Montepulciano, Perugia, Siena and Pienza. Maid service included in weekly rates. Homed cooked meals available upon request.

Further Details - Local Area Tuscan Umbria border - Chiusi Montepulciano area The villa has a strategical location to visit the hearth of Tuscany and famous cities like Siena, Arezzo, but also Perugia, Assisi, Lake Trasimeno and Rome. It's only 20 minutes driving from the motorway exit Chiusi or also Valdichiana. The villa faces on one side on Tuscan hills and on the other side on Trasimeno lake. Just south of Siena is Val d’Orcia, with its enchanting landscape, celebrated for its gentle sloping hills and the beautiful hamlets of Montepulciano, home to the wine which bares the same name, Pienza and Montalcino, home to the very prestigious grapes which the Brunello wine is born from. Lake Trasimeno is one of largest lakes on the Italian peninsula and certainly the most stunning. The farmed fields slope downwards until reaching the shore of the lake. Nearby are imposing medieval ruins and fortified castles. From the dry land you can reach the lake’s three islands: Maggiore, where there stands a battlemented castle, Minore and Polvese. A holiday at Lake Trasimeno offers a variety of things to do. Those who live to fish and those who love sailing will find Lake Trasimeno to be their natural paradise.
