Villa Il Gardolino , located in an elevated position at 390 m asl above Lake Garda, enjoys commanding views over Lake Garda and looks directly across to the villages of Gardone Riviera and Salò with their dramatic backdrop of peaks and mountains. The villa is located at the end of a gravel no-through road, which climbs its way from the village of Albisano to reach a very quiet and peaceful setting, removed from the busy roads and tourist crowds. Private and spacious, Villa Gardolino is set on a sloping hillside on a large block of land with a private pool of 14 m x 4.5 and is backed on one side by a small chestnut wood. A mountain trail winds along the front of the home and occasionally hikers or horsemen can be seen coming past.
The villa is on split levels; the main living areas at the upper, street level - and the lower level providing additional living and playing space for teenagers, accessed internally by a spiral staircase and externally from the pool and parking areas,
The interiors are bright, airy and casually furnished with a mix of traditional and modern Italian style pieces for easy living. The main entrance is onto the open plan living room, featuring two sets of French doors and two windows. On one side of the room is the lounge area, with two sofas and coffee table, while in the opposite side of the room is the dining table, next to an open fire place, set in a beautiful stone tiled wall. The fully equipped kitchen is adjacent to the fireplace and dining area.
On the same level are the two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both with windows opening to the garden and fly screens. The two bathrooms are quite ample, one with tub/shower, the other with shower recess.
A spiral staircase leads to the basement, where is a large eat-in kitchen with stove top, oven, fridge and dishwasher, opening to the pool area. At this level is also a bathroom with shower and washing machine.
