General Description
Ideally situated in a picture postcard setting and within walking distance from the nearby Pienza, this beautiful stoned farmhouse has recently been converted into a truly splendid villa. The location, with stunning 360 degree views of the gentle rolling Val D'Orcia countryside is amazing. From every corner of the property, the changing colours of the unspoilt landscape can be observed, stretching across to the towns and villages of the Val D'Orcia - Pienza, Monticchiello, Montepulciano and Monte Amiata. The villa within an easy drive of some of the most attractive villages and towns in Tuscany. A path 20-30 minutes walks takes to Pienza (drugstores, bank, post office, supermarkets, restaurants etc.). The private pool 18 mt length, steeped in a terraced beautiful garden with abundance of flowers, is extremely quiet, relaxing and mildly breezy. There is plenty of space on the lawns shaded by a variety of plants and umbrellas. With a mixture of terracotta and wooden floors, framed with wooden beamed ceilings, the interiors have been carefully converted to combine classic Tuscan style with comfortable country chic furnishings. The views from the each room in the villa across the open countryside are truly breathtaking. Each room has a unique touch, such as a spiral staircase to a mezzanine, a spoiling Jacuzzi bath in an alcove of the master bedroom or the large shower cubicle for a couple with 2 shower heads! Inside the villa is divided into 3 charming suites that offer guests privacy but ample common living spaces. They do not interconnect but are accessed directly through their own adjacent independent door to the garden. The larger suite sleeps 6, the left suite sleeps 4 and the right suite sleeps 2+2, with the largest kitchen/dining area where the entire group can dine together.

Further Details - Local Area Val d Orcia - Pienza story Pienza is a wonderful village that lies on a hill dominates the Val d' Orcia at about 490 amsl. The small city is approximately 50 km from Siena and is reachable travel along the Cassia until San Quirico d' Orcia and then following the indications for Pienza; or through the Siena-Bettolle exit in Sinalunga and continuing for Torrita di Siena and then for Pienza. Pienza has been inserted in 1996 in the list of the world-heritage patrimony of the humanity of the Unesco. Pienza is situated in a dominant charming position in the Val d' Orcia, making the round of town walls the sight spaces on wonderful panoramas. In particular two points are noteworthy: the stretch of the walk that goes towards the Cathedral from which overlooks the Val d' Orcia and the side where are the two circular towers from where is the most beautiful panorama towards the Tresa Torrent and the village of Monticchiello.
