The region is world famous for the wines produced in the Langa hills and in the Asti hills, home to the great Barolo wines and to the Asti spumante. Since the 2006 Winter Olympics Piedmont has become a very popular holiday destination. Villa Langa Dream occupies its own gorgeous and expansive estate of gentle rolling hills surrounded by vineyards and a dazzling garden with abundances of lavish flowers. This splendid villa features a heated indoor luxury pool with a beautiful sky mural ceiling (see photo!) and large windows offering stunning views across the surrounding Langa hills, stretching as far as to the Alps and Monte Blanc. Windows can be opened in the warmest seasons and access to a spacious fully furnished veranda. Adjacent a large terrace equipped with sun beds, tables, chairs and a life size chess game on the floor! Recently magnificently restored, the villa retains its period charm, with the décor featuring fine paintings, precious carpets, prestigious antique pieces from all over the world, all mixed in a chic and unique style. The magical atmosphere is capable of bewitching the most demanding guest. Each splendid bedroom with en-suite luxury bathroom features a unique touch and a wonderful ambience. Further Details - Local Area Villa In Piedmont The Langhe (Langa) The famous Langhe (Langa in its Italian spelling) wine growing region of Piemonte lies to the south of its capital Alba. It is characterized by rolling hills, vineyards and winding roads which deliver breath taking scenery around every corner. The Langhe area of Piemonte is becoming a popular location for holiday homes . Tourists world wide come here to follow the “wine trail” through the typical areas of Dolcetto d’Alba,Barbera d’Alba and Nebbiolo d’Alba. The Langa is also home to the truffle festival held in Alba during October. Each year for about a month and a half Alba is transformed and becomes the world market for truffles .Piazza Bianca hosts up to forty different stands all trading in this sought after commodity. Barolo known throughout the world for its wine is 15 Km's from Alba. Both Barolo and nearby Grinzane Cavour both host regional wine cellars. Serralunga has a beautiful castle while Monforte and La Morra will entertain you with their panoramic landscapes and famous restaurants.
