Inside Description
The villa sleeps 6 + 2 and is on more levels. On the ground floor is the sitting room, brightly painted in Estruscan red. The original 17th-century chest compliments the focal point of the room: a 19th-century liberty fireplace made of pietra serena. There are also two modern and comfortable sofas where you can watch satellite tv or just relax and listen to music, whilst admiring the spectacular view of the Tuscan countryside from the four large picture windows. Next lies the spacious dining room, painted in a sunny yellow colour. This has another fireplace ideal for grilling. The kitchen is beautifully decorated with handmade painted tiles in the colours of old cortonese ceramics, and functional: 5 gas hobs, microwave, dishwasher, oven, fridge and freezer. The stone staircase which leads you to the first floor has a bookcase with a wide range of Italian, English and French books. At the top of this staircase, a beautiful stained- glass door leads to the bedrooms. The master bedroom is decorated in antique pink, orange and gold and has an antique French bed - the headboard and the abat-jours date back to the eighteenth century. There are also a wardrobe and two large antique mirrors. From the window you can see the pool and the surroundings wood. The other bedroom has two single beds and is decorated in lilac with modern furnishings. Then there is, tiled in light blue and white. Annex: one double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a sofa bed for children . This suite has its private entrance and direct access to the garden.
